All Members are required to wear current approved riding helmet and approved safe riding boots (no work boots accepted). An equestrian body protector must be worn when riding on cross country.  Horses are to be bridled when riding

Helmet Standards: Australian standard AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards) new Australian standard ARB HS 2012 provided both are SAI Global marked. American standard ASTM F1163 (2004a or 04a onwards) provided they are SEI marked. Current American standard SNELL E2001. Current British standard PAS 015 (1998 or 2011) provided they are BSI Kitemarked. Interim European Standard VG1 (01.040: 2014-12) with or without BSI Kitemark.

Members are to abide by any direction of committee members or instructors in relation to safety.

Members are required to give some ‘time’ to the club in a volunteer capacity. This will be ½ a day minimum per member per year. This can be achieved by helping out with rallies, shows and special events that the club operates throughout the year. The volunteering can be completed at any time through the year and is to be completed in one lot (it would be too difficult to follow up if members wish to give ½ an hour here & there).

All members will be assigned one canteen duty during the membership year. 

Those members who are involved in a committee from the club are exempt as they are already putting this time into managing the club. This is your club and its success is up to you, the member.

Family members are youth under 21 years and their custodial parents and legal guardians. All junior members under the age of 18 must be accompanied at all Club events by a responsible adult who shall be responsible for their behaviour and general safety.
