2019 MEMBERSHIP

Working Equitation Hawkesbury to Hunter Inc (WEQH2H) is now seeking membership applications for the calendar year 2019. If you would like to be part of a fun and progressive club then apply now.

The club aims to provide its’ members with one ridden activity per month from February to November each year, these include Member Practice Days, 2-3 competitions and 1-2 clinics a year. Fundraising activities and the WEQH2H Awards Presentation and Christmas Party are also arranged. The club also supports riders competing at external events on a regular basis. Our Member Practice Days and Competitions are held at Tall Timbers Pony Club, Pacific Highway, Ourimbah NSW on the second Sunday of each month. Our monthly general meetings are open to all members and interested parties. Registration to any of our events is via Nominate.

We are known to be a supportive, friendly club that is keen to meet the needs of its members, whilst helping to grow working equitation locally and nationally. (WEDU) and use the WEDU Rulebook to run its competitions and ridden activities. WEQH2H encourages its members to join WEDU and support them as their governing association.

Over the past few years the club has expanded rapidly and given that we aim to continually meet the growing needs of our membership, we have capped our riding membership numbers at 85 for 2019. Membership applications will be accepted for current members provided the membership application is received by 30th December 2018. After this date further applications will be considered in date of receipt order and as outlined below.

To apply for membership you need to:

• read and complete the terms and conditions of membership below

• complete the membership form

• complete the waiver forms

New member applications once processed will be presented at our general meetings. If your application is accepted we will advise you of your membership number via email. If your application is unsuccessful, you will be advised as per our club constitution.

Terms and Conditions of Membership

WEQH2H is a volunteer run, not-for-profit incorporation. The club functions with the support of its members. .

If you wish to be a member of WEQH2H, you need to agree to helping out at Member Practice days, competitions and clinics, doing jobs such as equipment set up and pack away, co-ordination and support of competitions and clinics, being part of the operating committee and/or helping support the committee to make events run effectively.

 

Membership fees:

Please note: new members will be charged a once off joining fee $25 (adult and child riders only). This is only charged on your initial membership payment, not on your renewal.

Adult Rider: $80 new membership, $55 renewing membership

Child Rider (under 18 yrs): $50 new membership, $25 renewing membership

Family (Up to 2 Adults & 4 Children under 18): $125 for new and renewing membership (no joining fee)

Adult & Child (1 Adult & 1 child Under 18): $70 for new and renewing membership (no joining fee)

Additional Child under 18 for Family or Adult & Child Memberships: $15 (no joining fee)

Additional Child under 18 from same family of NEW Child Membership: $25 (only 1 joining fee per family)

Non-Rider: $20 for new and renewing membership (no joining fee)
