About Fernances Creek and Jump in the Vines
Fernances Creek Riding Club is an EA Affiliated Club situated on a 220 acre haflinger horse farm in the Hunter Valley near the village of Laguna and Wollombi. We host cross county and showjumping events for groups, breed haflinger horses and provide Ride & Stay Airbnb type accommodation for riders and horses.
Winter Clinic is an annual 2 day event (you can ride one day only, if you choose) that is packed full of cross country, showjumping and gourmet food for our guests. We bring in quality coaches, provide camping, yards and a relaxing social atmosphere. We provide gourmet lunches both days for riders and spectators that book in. It's a great weekend!
Things To Know Before You Enter:
1. There are no refunds two weeks prior to closing. If you cannot make the clinic for any reason, it will be up to you to find a replacement on Facebook or through your friends. We do have a waitlist and will help you any way we can. We have to pay coaches and catering no matter what. If you are late or miss your class, you cannot join another class if it is full.
2. You need to be an EA member or you can join our club and ride at our events. You can join our club on Nominate Clubs and select Fernances Creek as the club to join.
3. You need to wear an approved EA vest and helmet. Check the Equestrian Australia website for any questions on gear.
4. You can choose to ride only one day but 2 day riders and campers will have priority on entries and yards on the waitlist.
5. We have limited yards and are only offering them to 2 day riders or 1 day riders that are camping. When you enter, book your yard and camping package immediately so you are not disappointed. We do not offer day yards at all, so you have to tie up to your float.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO BYO YARDS AT NO CHARGE
4. We provide rider lunches and you must order additional lunches for non-riding guests under options when you enter.. Catering orders are placed early to ensure food can be sourced.
5. You need to bring breakfast. We offer complimentary coffee and tea in the clubhouse always.
6. You need to bring dinner meat to cook on the BBQ for Saturday night. We make the BBQ and microwave available to you in the clubhouse. You can book dinner with us but we only offer sides, salads and dessert, you can book this under options.
7. You must bring a cooler for your drinks and meat as our fridge will be totally full. Bring your water bottle to refill in the clubhouse, we do not have plastic water bottles for sale.
8. Dogs must be kept on a led at all times. We prefer that dogs do not come as so many people have dogs. We love dogs but not in large numbers.
9. All cars and floats must stay in the designated parking area.
10. 2 day riders and campers get a discount.
