Cadfor Equestrian is a partnership between equestrian coach Helena Warren and veterinarian Rod Hoare.
Helena is the qualified Riding Instructor at Cadfor having attained her National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) qualifications at 1G Level. She attained her qualifications in 1998, training with Simon Kale, Robert Stewart and Debbie Stewart.
Helena has been riding since she was 10 years old and in her younger days played polocrosse with Ingleburn Polocrosse Club. In her late teens, her interest turned to dressage and she trained with her local riding instructor Anna Bracken. More recently, she started eventing and had some success riding up to Pre Novice level.
With her interest in training, Helena has developed a number of horse management courses, initially for her previous employers, NSW DPI, and now a new range of clinics are available through Cadfor Equestrian.
Helena has trained with Andrew McLean of the Australian Equine Behavioural Centre (AEBC) and has recently started training with Manuela McLean. She has begun her accreditation with this group. Her other main influence is Mary Wanless, a British position coach that came to Australia for clinics in the mid 90's.
Helena is now qualified as a Skills Specific Trainer and Assessor (SSTA). This qualification enables her to train and assess candidates working towards their Introductory Horse Management and Riding Certificates.

Rod provides the veterinary expertise at the clinics and workshops run at Cadfor. He has excellent horse handling skills and his expertise is often called upon to deal with client's difficult horses.
Cadfor Equestrian runs clinics, provides seminars, runs school holiday camps and gives individual lessons by appointment. Cadfor Equestrian DOES NOT hire horses for trail rides or provide agistment.
