Southern Cross Xtreme Cowboy Racing Presents their Spring Showdown. 

17th and 18th of September. 

Entry Fee includes 2 days of Competition. Each division will complete runs per day. There will be a round 1 and round 2 of competition. 

Riders can enter multiple horses. 

Riders can ride up one division. 

Horses can ride up to 3 times per day. 

Maryborough Under Covered Arena.

8:00am start both days.

Division Breakdown:

PeeWee Pistols:

• Riders aged 4-7
• Lead line welcome. 
• Riders have 6 obstacles plus overall horsemanship points. 
• obstacle have a difficulty scale of 1-2. 
• Timed event.
• Non-Club members Welcome. 

Young Guns:

• Riders aged 7-11.
• Independent Riders
• Riders have 8 obstacles plus overall horsemanship points.
• Obstacle have a difficulty scale of 1-2
• Timed event.
• Parents can be in arena but unable to assist.
• Non-Club members welcome.

Youth:

• Riders aged 12-17
• Independent Riders
• Riders have 13 Obstacles plus overall horsemanship points.
• Obstacles have a difficulty range of 1-4
• Timed Event
• Non-Club members welcome.

Novice:

• Riders aged 18 years and over.
• Inexperienced Riders
• Have not ever shown in the equestrian field. 
• Is limited in catering ability.
• Entry Level division.
• Novice level riders are allowed to ride up into higher division. 
• Riders have 10 Obstacles plus overall horsemanship points.
• Timed Event
• Obstacles have a difficulty range of 1-3. 
• Non-Club members Welcome.

Intermediate

• Riders aged 18+
• Riders have increase horsemanship skills and are able to confidently canter. 
• Riders has increased speed and confidence. 
• Riders have 13 Obstacles 
• Obstacles have a difficulty range of 1-4.
• Timed Event
• Non-Club members welcome.

Green Horse

• A non EXCA Division.
• Designed for Green horses or horses that are new to the sport
• Horses can be of any age.
• Horses in this division can ONLY enter this division no others. 
• Riders have 10 Obstacle plus overall horsemanship points
• Obstacle range in difficulty level 1-6

Non-Pro

• Riders aged 18+ (Youth can ride in this division with parental consent)
• Increased Confidence and speed.
• Rider has 13 obstacles plus overall horsemanship points
• Obstacles range in difficulty scale of 1-5
• Timed Event
• Non-Club members Welcome.

RideSmart

• Riders aged Over 55
• Experienced riders
• Riders have 13 Obstacles plus overall horsemanship points
• Obstacles have a difficulty rating of 1-5
• Timed Event
• Non-Club members Welcome.

Pro

• Riders aged 18+ 
• Designed for riders who recieve compensation from horse training / lessons. 
• Riders have 13 Obstacles plus overall horsemanship points.
• Obstacles have a difficulty range of 1-6.
• TImed event
• Non-Club members welcome.
