 A great introduction to eventing, with Dressage folllowed by a combined Show Jumping / Cross Country round.  Spectators can see the whole course and nervous riders can have someone run with them or be on lead rein.

Numbers are limited due to parking restrictions and only having space for 2  dressage arenas.  Entries closing date Monday 14 January  midnight.     Please note we have no yards for horses - they will need to be tied to floats.

      Grades                            3-5,  EVA 50,65,80,(EVA classes include the $20 TEA levy)

 

Dressage

The dressage marshaller will call riders for their test as appropriate.   

Riders must be prepared to ride early, if there are scratchings in their ring.

Grade 3 / 80         EA Preliminary 1.3

Grade 4/  65         EA Preliminary 1.2

Grade 5               PCAV 5A  No Canter / PCAV5B with canter

Cross Country/Show Jumping combined

The course will comprise approximately 9 show jumps then straight out onto the Cross Country course with approximately 10/11 cross country jumps. There is no separate show jumping round.

Course walks

 8.30am and 10am – Sunday for XC section of course and at conclusion of dressage, for the SJ jumps

General

 

Entry fee

$40.00 inc ambulance levy & ground fees, additional horses with same rider $35.00. EA and STEA entries incur a $20 TEA surcharge.  Payments must be made via Nominate at time of entry

 and close 14/1/2019.  Late entries will not be accepted and entry numbers will be strictly limited to 60 entries – so enter early to avoid disappointment

 

 

Water

 Please bring your own horse water as our flow is low and slow 

Dogs

STRICTLY No dogs are allowed on the ground. 

Parking

Float Parking area is limited, so please park as close and safely as possible and as directed.

Canteen will be available  

Back numbers

Will be issued on the morning of the event. Riders are to wear back numbers and helmets at all times when mounted, even in warm up. Please make sure hair doesn’t prevent number being seen. If the back number is not returned you will be invoiced for the replacement cost.

Medical Armband

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE WILL BE CHECKED PRIOR TO NUMBERS BEING ISSUED - NO RIDE J

Protests

If you have a query regarding your score, you must refer it to your nominated club representative, who in turn will follow it through on your behalf.  Under no circumstances are riders or parents to approach the scoring team direct.  Any queries, including marshalling queries, must be referred to your nominated club representative.

Presentation

Unmounted - riders are to wear uniform to the presentation. Ribbons will be awarded to 5th place.
