OFFICIAL ONE DAY EVENT

 “Fairlands”, East Tamar Highway, Launceston

Open to Pony Club Financial Members, including PC Adult Riders

PC Grades 1 – 5

This event will be run under EA rules (in conjunction with the competition rules in the PCT Handbook including the PCT Addendum to EA Eventing Rules)


Grade 5 riders must be competent and able to ride unassisted (no lead line)

PONY CLUB RIDERS: Submit entry via Nominate (www.nominate.com.au) and notify your Club DC

Nominate entries will be sent to all DC’s for confirmation of rider eligibility/grade

All riders must supply a helper who will be available on the day for jobs.  If you nominate a steward and then do not have one on the day, you will NOT be able to ride.  If you do not supply the name of a steward or you nominate yourself, you will NOT be able to ride unless you have made prior arrangements considered acceptable to the organising committee.

Dressage

Start time 8am

Presentation

Plaiting is compulsory

Marshalling

All riders are to present to warm-up area well before their estimated riding time. 
The dressage marshallers will call riders for their test as appropriate.
Riders must be prepared to ride early and allow for scratchings.

Riders listed later in the dressage draw must ensure they walk their cross country before dressage.

Compulsory for all Grades and will checked by Gear Checkers.

General

 

Gates Open

6:30am

Gear Check

7:30am and is compulsory before EVERY phase.  Riders who have not completed their C Certificate must report to gear check with a parent, DC or Club representative.

Back Numbers

Back numbers will be issued from 7am onwards (not earlier please) near the canteen.

They must be worn and visible at all times when mounted, even in warm up. 
Long hair MUST be tied up so that the back number is visible at all times and in all phases.
If the back number is not returned, you will be invoiced for the replacement cost. 

Multiple Horses

A rider may have no more than two horses entered.  
No classes will be held up to accommodate riders with two horses.
No refunds will be given for riders who have not been able to participate in each phase.

Qualifications

Riders must be bona fide members of the club which they represent in all inter-club competitions.

Entry Fees

Via nominate.com.au
$30 per horse and rider combination

$5 Ambulance Levy (one payment per rider)

$10 Fairlands Maintenance Levy (one payment per rider)

No refunds without vet or medical certificate.

Late Entries

Late entries will not be accepted. 

Draw

Will be emailed directly to riders and DC’s

Smoking

Strictly no smoking on the grounds at any time

Dogs

No dogs are allowed on the grounds

Horse water

Please bring your horse water with you

Parking

Instructions from the parking attendants must be adhered to

First Aid

Appropriate first aid will be on-site

Veterinary

A list of local veterinarians will be available

Canteen

Full canteen will be available on the day

Scratchings

All riders to notify LDPC of scratchings as early as possible on

Protests

 

Must be referred through to your club DC or nominated Club representative.
Under no circumstances are riders or parents to approach the scoring team directly.
