PART TWO - Groundwork and In Hand Training with Trish Braithwaite

Following on from our popular Part One class held in March, join us on Sunday 26 April, from 9.00am to learn and be guided through introductory Groundwork and In Hand Training exercises with your horse.

Trish Braithwaite will work with small groups (4 - 6 max) in one hour sessions to introduce riders to the benefits of In Hand Training. These will include: 

• Preparing your horse physically and mentally for riding
• Developing greater trust and connection with your horse
• Teaching your horse lateral movements 
• Learn how to improve your sense of feel, timing and coordination

Important requirements for participants:

• Non-riding, but horses to be fully bridled (no halters)
• Participants can wear casual attire, however do need suitable protective footwear (such as boots)
• Participants need to bring a dressage length whip
