Have you ever wanted to give Working Equitation a go?  Well, here is your chance! Bathurst Working Equitation  will be joining us for some expert guidance on all things Working Equitation. Open to all horse breeds and riders of all levels, working equitation is about creating the ultimate partnership between horse and rider. 

CLASSES

All riders must either be a member of either Bathurst Working Equitation or Orange Equestrian Club to ride at this Club Day.

Working Equitation

• Give Working Equitation a Go

Show Jumping

• Rounds will start at 45cm and rise up according to riders on the day.
• When you enter show jumping it is a block entry which is 3 jump rounds (these can be over 3 heights).
• Course walk available from 9:00am or prior to each round.
• You must wear and show your riders wristband before show jumping. Collect at the ADMIN table on arrival. 

General Riding - Ride With Us

• If you're not into Working Equitation or Show Jumping but would like to bring your horse along for a day out, ride with fellow Club Members and enjoy the beautiful Equestrian Reserve then TICK THIS BOX!
• A great opportunity to see why so many riders enjoy the relaxed, family friendly and supportive atmosphere of the Club
• Ride around the grounds at your leisure
• Don't forget, when entering working equitation or show jumping, this gives you an automatic entry for General Riding, so you do not need to enter the Ride With Us riding class.

NOTES

• This is a regular Club member day; relaxed, fun, friendly and family orientated that is supportive and encouraging is our focus. Any junior riders must be riding independently, no lead rein.
• All our classes are unofficial and no points will be awarded
• ONLY HORSES THAT ARE ENTERED FOR THIS CLUB DAY ARE PERMITTED ON THE GROUNDS.
• Dogs and foals are not permitted
• Stallions and colts may attend ONLY IF THEY HAVE PRIOR APPROVAL FROM THE COMMITTEE.
• Stallions and colts once approved by the Committee, must wear compliant green number holders on both sides of the horse’s bridle or breastplate, or halter discs on both sides of the horse’s halter or alternatively compliant green number holders on both sides of the saddle cloth, at all times. • Entrance for all vehicles is via 27 Canobolas Road. Please take care as you drive in there are a few bumps to navigate. Please park responsibly.
• Your health, safety and well-being is our priority. If you are feeling unwell please do not attend. COVID safety protocols are encouraged: maintain social distancing, wash your hands, for extra protection wear a face mask, hand santizer will be available
• The equestrian reserve has a number of holding yards (unless Reserved, these are available on a first come first serve basis), a toilet block, wash bays and access to water (located at the end of each yard block)

DRESS CODE

• Riding clothes with proper riding boots
• EA approved helmet
• Plaiting is NOT required
• Competition attire is NOT required
• In the event of warm weather please remember to wear your hat, sunscreen, cover up and enjoy the shade - compliments of our lovely Eucalypts.
