Ever wanted to know what your horse feels when you ride?
We have something very special for you. A chance to ride a mechanical horse! Imagine being able to trot and canter, do transitions, flying changes without worrying about the horse’s reaction.
By using a horse simulator with sensors, you can see on the screen in front of you if you’re heavier on one side or the other. Is one leg weaker than the other – is it in the right position for the aids? Are you pulling on the bit when rising to the trot?
This simulator introduces a revolutionary approach to improving skills and balance, offering immediate visual feedback on seat position and riding techniques.
The Head Coach of the RDA is a retired Osteopath and can guide your session using biomechanics, her knowledge and experience. We will use vaulting barrels to warm up and then each rider will have a 20 minute session on “Liquorice”, the Carine RDA’s horse simulator. In groups of three you can watch each other. It is best to have someone record the session for you, so make sure your phones are charged and have enough capacity for a 20 minute video!
Cost is $67 each rider. This is what we are being charged by Carine RDA, there is no profit component included.
Please wear whatever you need to ride comfortably in. You will be on a pad with handles rather than a saddle as it provides better feedback from the sensors. Bring your helmet.
Bring your own beverages and lunch if you want to sit and chat before or after. Bring some treats to share if you like. Come for the day and watch everyone or just come for your session. We can only accommodate 18 riders as it is 3 riders per hour with 6 hours maximum. It is the Carine RDA staff’s day off, they are doing this on their own time and we are grateful for the opportunity.
