Bemboka’s 2025 Working Equitation  By The Mountains on Sunday 30^th November, will be an unofficial event (not Horse of the Year) designed to encourage new riders and young horses. Bemboka’s Cooma members will be running this event at the Cooma Showgrounds. The grounds are picturesque with an expansive brilliant green oval, a sand arena for lunging,  and plenty of covered stalls. The grounds are quiet with no through traffic. This event is designed to be particularly suitable for those new to competition and are not overly confident of taking part in a Working Equitation competition. The preceding day is an unofficial dressage competition being run by the Monaro Equestrian Association (entries via Nominate). At the conclusion of Saturday’s dressage competition, the Working Equitation obstacles will be set up, and riders can use the rest of the afternoon to familiarise their horse to the bridge, gate, slalom, stockpen etc in readiness for Sunday's competition. Riders who intend to compete at both or either events are able to camp with their horses at Cooma Showgrounds on Friday and Saturday nights. All riders in this competition must be current members of both Bemboka Show, Dressage and Working Equitation and also Australian National Working Equitation (ANWE).
