Brookleigh Working Equitation Club Members have priority for entering this event including any Member on a waitlist.

You can also enter this event if you are a current Member of an ANWE Affiliated Club, or

if you want to try Working Equitation you can enter as a guest for an additional day membership fee (limit 2 rallies).

After our success being named Champion Club at the State Championships, we continue with our themed rallies and Precision Riding patterns interspersed with Mirror in Motion and Garrocha Skills throughout the year. We will not be organising cattle clinics but will advertise private clinics as they occur. Our coaches are experienced Working Equitation competitors, accredited coaches and some judges, who understand all aspects of this sport and with horsemanship and biomechanics skills too - only the best for our Members!

This month, the focus is on FLEXION, BENDS AND TURNS

All Classes will be held INDOORS and includes:

Precision Riding with Maggie Cappon with a riding pattern to help you prepare for bending and turning.
Ease of Handling (Obstacles) with Hermine Zielinski, with a focus on obstacles you will bend through.
Garrocha Skills with Maggie Cappon, a two person class for the fundamentals of handling the garrocha, ready to ride the bull line and other obstacles as well as patterns.

There is a maximum of 4 horses per class (except for Garrocha which is two per class). If the class is full when you try to enter, please email Helen at [email protected] and we will add another class if there are sufficient numbers (3 or more).

Member Fees:

$50 for the first class plus additional classes for $15 each or half hour Garrocha Skills $20 , plus ground fee $10

Non-member Fees:

As for a Member if you are a current member of an ANWE WA affiliated WE club plus ground fee $15
As for Member plus Guest day membership fee $20 plus $15 ground fee

ADDITIONAL NOTES

If a class only has one or two at close of entries, we reserve the right to consolidate classes. If this occurs, you will be advised immediately after closing date for entries. Coaching is offered at the different levels within the classes adjusted to the experience of horse and rider. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in ensuring a great day for all.

Please bring your own sun screen and fly protection for yourselves and your horse. There will be water available at the yards and stables. There will be tea/coffee and treats available to the Members in the grandstand.

Please clean up any excess hay and all manure before leaving the yards and around the float at the end of your stay.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds will be provided only where a medical or vet certificate is provided or if the event is cancelled by us. As we use Nominate for our entries, their $1 refund processing fee cannot be refunded. Refunds will be returned to the bank account used to enter.
