Friday may be catch up with lesson planning, coach observations and anything else required, or we start trainng/ assessing on the Friday. (PLease email me where you are at with your coaching as soon as you decide you can make it out here. Prior Horse Management and riding can be assessed, please contact Sarah - [email protected])
There will be a late afternoon discussion session on Friday and Sunday to clarify any training or assessing tips to improve the techniques for the following day.
It is assumed that if you are attending to be assessed that you are coaching regularly or are confident coaching groups and your knowledge is at or above the level. (Feel free to discuss via email or phone to confirm your standard).
There is also availability for riders who would like to be training to come along – just choose training or assessing. There are 2 and 3 days avaiable. If you have started being assessed you can come for 2 days, if you have had nothing yet signed, you will have to come for 3 days to allow us to watch you coaching all your lesson plans.
We will start at 8.30 daily.
Please be familiar with the coaching books. It is preferable that you have done your coach observations, and your risk assessment prior, so we can just work on the coaching aspects.
For those who need to complete you horse management and riding sections followed by the orientation to coaching – please contact me as soon as possible to discuss
Riders may be assessed for their next riding level this weekend as well, please advise prior to arrival so the program can cater for you.
The program will be sent out the week prior so all candidates know when they are riding and when they are teaching.
