LOGAN RIVER REDLANDS WORKING EQUITATION
APRIL RALLY DAY – 11 APRIL 2026
Our April Rally Day is designed for all members—those preparing for competition and those simply wanting an enjoyable, confidence‑building day with their horses. Whether you’re riding, working in‑hand, or focusing on groundwork, you’re welcome to participate. Members working in‑hand are encouraged to use any obstacle not currently in use by a mounted group.
Club uniform is encouraged but not compulsory.
Members are asked to arrive by 7.30am to yard horses and prepare for the day.
A central briefing and sign‑in will be held at 8.00am, including set‑up assistance from attending members.
Warm up your horses before activities begin promptly at 9.00am.
The morning session runs 9.00am–11.30am, including obstacle information drawn from the ANWE Rule Book.
At 12.00pm, we will begin packing away selected obstacles before lunch.
There is no afternoon riding session this month to allow time for set‑up for the Working Equitation Points Day on 12 April. We encourage everyone to nominate and come along to enjoy a friendly, supportive competition environment.
After lunch, members who are able to stay and assist with set‑up are very welcome.
Activities for April Rally Day
Each group will rotate through three to four activities, all based on ANWE‑compliant obstacles.
Each activity includes a suggested guide focusing on repetition, key movements, and combinations.
Activities are self‑paced and self‑measured—do as much or as little as suits you and your horse.
Feedback and suggestions are always appreciated.
