Obstacle fun day at the Cygnet Riding Club Saturday 21st June 2025 -

Those in the morning group will need to be there at 9.15am to help set out all the Obstacles.

Those in the 1pm session will need to help pack everything away at 3pm 

Morning session starts at 10.30am sharp - 

It's recommend that everyone enter the arena with your horses saddled up (if riding) but to start on the ground first with a rope halter and lead rope. It's best to show the horses the environment and even attempt the obstacles from the ground first. It's also a great idea to protect your horses legs with leg boots. Please bring a bucket for water for your horse. We have 12 horse holding yards. Plus round yard and big square yard for horses from the same property.

Instructor on the day is Camille Velnaar who will be present to assist riders and horses with the obstacles and hold a few mini classes and demonstrations on the correct approach to the obstacles. 

The last half an hour of the session will be allocated for those riders wanting to have a go at a 5 obstacle course made up of the obstacles set out on the day,  just for fun! 

There is a Non Member Day Insurance fee of $15 

Our Club is Based at the Cygnet Recreation grounds. The entrance is off Guys Road Cygnet. Around to the back of the Cygnet Football oval.
