General Riding - Ride With Us

  • If you don't want to ride cross country but would still like to give your horse a day out to ride around and enjoy the beautiful Equestrian Reserve (as well as the company of your fellow awesome club members), then TICK THIS BOX!
  • A great opportunity to see why so many riders enjoy the relaxed, friendly and supportive atmosphere of the Club
  • Ride around the grounds at your leisure but please note, only after the Cross Country has finished from approximately 1pm.

Important information about your Cross Country Rounds

  • Course walk from 9:00am
  • Every rider will get 2 rounds, you can choose whatever combination of heights you like
  • Rider can not circle back to jump a different jump e.g. jump no. 6 then go back to jump no.5
  • It will be a timed draw, there will be roughly 10-15minutes between your 2 rounds so horses can have a quick breather and you can go again
  • It is NOT a competition, there will be people out on course if help is needed. If you have trouble at a jump try the smaller option and keep going
  • If you have a mishap and fall off you can NOT remount, you must LEAD your horse off the course, report to a committee member and be cleared by first aid
  • All XC riders MUST wear and approved EA body protector
  • Entry for this event will be via our new entrance at 27 Canobolas Road
  • There will be alot of bunting setup to separate areas, so please be aware of the NO HORSES area as well as when crossing the XC path to get to the toilets or canteen area
  • Your cross country entry gives you automatic entry for General Riding, so you do not need to enter the 'Ride with Us' riding class!

  • This is a regular Club member day; relaxed, fun, friendly, family orientated and supportive is our focus.
  • All our classes are unofficial and no points will be awarded
  • Dogs, foals, colts or stallions are not permitted
  • For the most current information regarding commencement times, schedules or any last minute changes please follow our Facebook page
  • Parking will be limited. Please park responsibly. Follow any official's instruction and or directional signage
  • Your health, safety and well-being is our priority. If you are feeling unwell please do not attend. COVID safety protocols are encouraged: maintain social distancing, wash your hands. Hand santizer will be available
  • The equestrian reserve has a number of holding yards and unless marked as 'reserved' for the committee these are available on a first come first serve basis. There is a toilet block and access to water (located near amenities block and near middle yards)
  • Photographs may be taken on the day and used to help promote the club.  If you do not wish your photo to be taken please advise the photographer.
