OPEN CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING DAY

SUNDAY 2nd AUGUST 2020 From 8am to 4pm

THIS EVENT IS DEPENDANT ON THERE ARE NO CHANGES TO COVID RESTRICTIONS AT DECREASING NUMBERS

 

An open cross country training day has been organised for ALL RIDERS to train on Burpengary’s Cross Country Course. All riders participate at their own risk and will be required to sign a waiver. Riders will be given a back number to use for the day.

ALL NON PCQ OR EA Member must complete and sign a Liability Declaration Form and a Day Participant Waiver Prior to participation and NON Members to pay extra $10 for public liability Inurance.

Cost is $40 per horse on nominate.com.au.

NO NOMINATIONS WILL BE TAKEN ON THE DAY

COFFEE VAN WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE

 

 THERE WILL BE 2 SESSIONS AVAILABLE AND NUMBERS WILL BE RESTRICTED IN LINE WITH COVID19 REGULATIONS

IT IS COMPULSORY TO FILL OUT THE COVID ATTENDANCE REGISTER WHEN YOU ENTER AND LEAVE THE GROUNDS,

HORSE HEALTH DECS MUST BE HANDED IN 

 

 

SESSION 1

RIDERS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS ONLY FROM 7.30AM (EARLY ARRIVALS WILL HAVE TO WAIT AT THE FRONT GATE)

RIDERS CAN BE ON COURSE FROM 8.00AM AND SESSION FINISHES AT 11.00AM AND MUST BE OFF THE GROUNDS FOR 12PM.

SESSION 2

RIDERS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS ONLY FROM 11.30AM(EARLY ARRIVALS WILL HAVE TO WAIT AT THE FRONT GATE)

RIDERS CAN BE ON COURSE FROM 12.00PM AND SESSION FINISHES AT 3.00PM AND MUST BE OFF THE GROUNDS BY 4PM

 

Bring your own Coach or Instructor if you like. Organise a Group and make a fun day. Social distancing must be adhered to.

The Water Jump will be filled

Body Protectors and Medical Armbands are compulsory and must be worn. A responsible adult or coach must accompany rider/s.

The committee reserves the right to restrict the number of riders/horse on course at any time

Hand sanitizer and soap will be available at the office area, please wash your hands regularly. Hand Sanitizer will be supplied at the wash bay please use before and after use at this area.

    If you are unwell the morning of the event please do not come as we have COVID-19 policies we are required to follow. We must Record names and details of everyone who attends on the day. Make sure you sign in the register that will be available at the office, for ALL of your family. Spectators must adhere to social distancing rules of 1.5m and must not congregate in areas. Please park with social distancing in mind. Sanitiser stations will be on the grounds, please use them and wash your hands regularly.

     BIOSECURITY – All Horse owners and competitors should be aware that you have a biosecurity obligation to take all reasonable steps to ensure your activities do not spread a pest, disease or contaminant. Competitors are asked to ensure good biosecurity practices at home and at the event and to follow the instructions of the organising committee and the Biosecurity Manager or risk expulsion from the event. All horses entering the grounds must be in good health, with no signs of Illness. Horse Health Declarations HHD are a Mandatory requirement for all events. Do not share equipment, including food and water containers between horses. Competitors are responsible for cleaning up manure from yards and the grounds and placing it in the designated areas. Please use your own shovel/rake. Competitors are required to advise the event organisers immediately is a horse is sick. Everyone handing the horse show wash or sanitise hands and stop all non essential contact
