H2H MEMBERS PRACTICE DAY
ARENA & OBSTACLES FAMILIARISATION
Location: Tall Timbers PC Grounds
Sunday 8th February 2026
8:00am to 1:00pm
Total running time: 8:00am to 1:00pm please ensure you are available to commit for the whole time, ALL participants are expected to help set up and pack away.
Gates Open: 7.30am
Time: Arrive Before 8:00am park and unload
Set up: from 8:00am, ALL participants are expected to help set up even if they are travelling from further away.
Sign in table opens: 8:00am this is when H2H Members can put their name down for either a 20min arena session with another rider, Marks group and/ or whole course obstacle timeslot. Depending on numbers there may not be enough arena session slots to accomodate every member entered.
Morning Briefing: 9:00am President’s Welcome and rider briefing. Tall Timbers Grounds etiquette and rules will be explained. Located in front of the Club House.
DISCLAIMER: Depending on numbers of entries, timing and type of sessions may be adjusted.
Arena Familiarisation: 9.00 to finish (closed for Marks session approx 9.30-10.30). Riders will have a pre-selected 20 minute time slot to ride in the arena. Please ensure you are time-aware. If you are late you will only have the remaining time or miss out. Those doing Marks session may not get an arena spot depending on numbers attending.
Ground-work and Ridden Session with Mark Mason: 9:30am to 10:30am this session is for riders wanting to use softer and clearer aids and how to achieve this through ground and ridden exercises. Maximum 5 riders.
Obstacles: The number of courses set up will depend on numbers, the plan is to allow open access to course/s and then time slots for members to ride the entire course.
Only for emergency reasons can participants leave before packing up.
Pack up and Lunch 1:00pm finish. All obstacles in top paddock and arena to be packed away.
**ALL PARTICIPANTS TO ASSIST**
Sausage Sizzle Lunch, yummy sausage sandwich (vegetarian available) and home baked morning tea for $5- pp available after pack up - please pre order and pay for catering purposes.
Additional information:
Please don't enter if you have another commitment in the afternoon which you need to dash off too before packing up.
If participants need to leave before pack up – please inform committee member.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 2026
All events will be held in accordance with the current version at the time of writing of the Australian National Working Equitation Ltd (ANWEL) Rulebook (2026) and any subsequent amendments.
To enter you must be a financial member of H2H & ANWEL to enter.
Please ensure you are available to commit for the whole time, ALL participants are expected to help set up and pack away.
The onus is on the ENTRANT & MEMBER to know the rules. The conditions apply to all events and competitions held by H2H Working Equitation Hawkesbury to Hunter Working Equitation. A copy of the current ANWEL Rulebook can be found on the ANWEL website Rules and Tests - ANWE
