Come and join us for a 'Have a Go' weekend at Azteca Adventure Park - Williams.
If you're looking to build a stronger relationship with your horse and would like to learn the art of Working Equitation, try your hand at obstacle training, or are interested in learning how to dance with the Garrocha pole then come and join us for a fun weekend at Azteca Adventure Park.
This weekend is suitable to any level of horse and rider, from any discipline, in-hand* and ridden!
Azteca Adventure Park has full camping facilities available including a barn full of table and chairs, toilet and shower facilities, fridge, microwave, toaster, urn, plates and cutlery. If you've never camped with your trusty stead before this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try! We've been told "You don't camp at Azteca Adventure Park, you GLAMP!".
We're a Club of friendly, super supportive members with all levels of riding skills and we're always happy to welcome newcomers to our YEA family.
What to Bring
Secure yards for your horse (there are a limited number of yards available for hire)
Bucket for your horses water (water is available)
Halter & leadrope
4x leg protection for horse (e.g. sling, tendon or shin boots)
Approved helmet and safe tack
Crop / Carrot stick (optional)
Horse's feed / hay (hay should be clean and free of weeds please)
Food and drinks for you
Rules
Please clean up after your horse. Poop and hay must be picked up and deposited in the compost pile provided. Please leave the site as you found it so we can continue to enjoy Azteca Adventure Park's facilities!
* Due to the length of the Garrocha poles and to sensures eveyone's safety, Garrocha lessons will be limited to 2 riders at a time and will be ridden only.
