When entering, please select PONY if you wish to ride as a Pony and enter the SEPARATE unofficial junior classes at preparatory, Preliminary and Novice if your child is under 18 or they will be riding in the class you have entered as an open!

 

Membership - If you do not have EA membership and wish to compete please go to our Singleton dressage website and fill out the membership form before entering so you can enter any unofficial dressage test. Official classes are only to be entered by those with have EA membership.

CLOSED UNRESTRICTED (UNOFFICIAL) TESTS ARE OPEN TO RIDERS WITH A CURRENT EA NUMBER OR MEMBERS OF SINGLETON DRESSAGE CLUB. HORSE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE EA REGISTERED.

The Singleton Dressage Club will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or damage incurred to any rider, horse or equipment. APPROVED HELMETS MUST BE WORN WHILST RIDING, CHECK EA RULES - IT IS THE RIDERS RESPONSIBILITY!.  I have read and understand the rules and regulations of this competition day and agree to abide by them.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY     Acceptance Entries will be dated as received, in the event of entries exceeding the limit a reserve list will be drawn up. Please note that members will get first preference. Numbers in some classes may be restricted at the discretion of the committee. Riders Riders can ride two horses per test only. Horses may not compete in more than 2 consecutive levels eg: Preliminary/Novice. Two tests per horse in a single day and eight tests per rider per day. Riders of multiple horses should indicate in which order they wish to ride their horses - this will allow sufficient warm up time etc. Juniors Juniors will have separate sections in Preparatory, Preliminary and Novice. Pony Ponies may enter any test but need to indicate that they are a Pony. Tests All tests are subject to the availability of judges. The SDC reserves the right to alter the program if the need arises. Preparatory Preparatory is open to horses who have not won a preparatory test or higher previously and riders who have not competed at FEI level. HC entires will be taken. Whips Whips must not exceed 1.2m in its entirety (incl. tassel) and may be used up to and including FEI classes. 100cm for Pony classes. Hats Approved helmets must be worn, it is the riders responsibility. Callers Callers are allowed for all tests except FEI Please Note There is no lunging of horses inside the main arena after 8am. Scratchings & Refunds Scratchings should be made as soon as possible to 0426824443. If before closing date a refund will be given. After closing date you will receive a refund only if a Vet/Doctor Certificate is produced and then at the discretion of the Committee. Awards & scores  It is now paperless scoring Ribbons! Scores will be sent to nominate scoreboard after your test has been ridden and results will be finalised online too. You will be emailed your test paper.   Ribbons will be to 6th place and available  at the completion of the competition. If you cannot wait please leave appropriate coinage (e.g. $2.00 or $3.00) depending on the number of tests, & a self addressed envelope with the Secretary’s Office. Weather It is the responsibility of the competitors to contact 0426824443 in view of inclement weather. We will not be ringing competitors if the competition is cancelled. All efforts will be made to make a decision as early as possible which will then be posted on Facebook and Home | Singleton Dressage and Nominate. Memberships All memberships are due 1st January ANNUALLY or before first competition of year. Insurance 1. Neither the Singleton Dressage Club organizing committee or the EFA accepts any liability for any accident, damage, injury to horses, owners, riders, grounds, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. 2. As a result of insurance changes, riders must be either a member of the EFA or Singleton Dressage Club.
