SUNDAY 7TH APRIL 2024   Postponed due to wet weather...

New Date is 16th June 2024

BUNGENDORE SHOWGROUNDS - Matthews Lane, Bungendore NSW 2621

This is a closed/restricted Adult Riding Club event for BRC Members and Members of EA who are 18 years of age and over.

Dressage and Show Jumping

Combined Training classes with Eventing Dressage Tests.

Additional classes available with Prep, Prelim and Novice tests + Additional Show Jump Rounds (EA Show Jumping and Dressage Rules) available.

**Additional Show Jumping rounds should be at the next height - ie if you enter CT45cm your additional jump round should be 60cm.  If entering 80cm you can stay at that level but only your first round will count to your Combined Training Class.

**Update to Additional Showjumping Rounds

**You may now enter an additional show jumping round at the SAME HEIGHT (maximum of 2 SJ rounds on the day) however, only your first round will count to your Combined Training Class or be competitive.  **Your second round at the same height will be considered to be Hors Concours (HC) ie without competition.  We encourage you to ride 2 consecutive heights but understand if you don't wish to smiley

RIDERS MAY ONLY RIDE ONE Horse On the Day - One Horse - One Rider.      NO EXCEPTIONS!

Horses may only compete in a maximum of 2 dressage tests and 2 show jumping rounds on the day (including the combined training classes).  ie you could enter One combined training class and then also One additional dressage test (same or consecutive level) and One additional jumping round.  Or you could enter Two dressage tests (consecutive levels) and Two show jumping rounds (consecutive heights to be competitive in both).

Classes 1-4 (Combined Training) Dressage and Showjumping rounds will be judged per **EA dressage and show jumping rules

Classes 8-11 (Additional Show Jumping Rounds)

**Update to Showjumping Phase of Combined Training.

In consultation with the Show jump judge, it was decided that time penalties for Classes 1-4 will be calculated in the same way as for Classes 8-11. **That is, ALL show jump rounds will be judged using EA show jumping rules for a single round ridden to Optimum Time (*except that the time allowed will be based on a speed of 300mpm)

Time allowed is 10 seconds over or under the calculated Optimum Time.  Riders with equality of penalties are placed in accordance with the time closest either side to the Optimum Time. Riders who come in under or over the Optimum Time by more than 10 seconds will have 1 time penalty added to their score for every elapsed second over the ten seconds.

Combined Training - Classes 1 to 4: sashes will be awarded to 5th place.

Prizes for Highest Dressage Percentage and Closest to Optimum Time (and with zero jumping penalties) will be awarded in each class.
