Mullion Produce Club Championships 2024 Closed Restricted Competition

and Leaderboard Presentation

Event Details:

• Registration: Entries must be submitted by Midnight SATURDAY 1st March. No late entries will be accepted.
• Entries will not be accepted without a bridle number. 
• BRIDLE NUMBERS MUST BE WORN ON HEADCOLLARS AT ALL TIMES OUTSIDE OF YARDS.
• If you see a horse/pony wearing a green disc, it means they are a stallion. Please keep a respectful distance. ALL STALLIONS MUST WEAR A GREEN DISC.
• Food and Beverages: Provided by Wally Wombat Cafe

Prizes:

• ** Please note:  to be eligible for Champion, you must enter both classes in a level eg: Classes  02a and 02b (Prelim 1.1 and Prelim 1.2)  **
• Open Champion and Reserve Champion Rosettes for each level (Preparatory - Advanced)
• Open Champion and Reserve Champion Rosettes for ALL FEI levels combined. All FEI Classes are counted as one level and One Champion will be rewarded across all FEI Levels.
• Pony Champion and Reserve Champion Rosettes for levels Preparatory to Novice
• Young Rider Champion and Reserve Champion Rosettes for levels Preparatory to Novice
•  Ribbons for each class 1st to 6th Place. 
• Ponies will be awarded separate ribbons within the classes.
• Young Riders will be awarded separate ribbons within the classes
• Leaderboard Rugs will also be awarded!!
• Our Champion Rosettes are hand crafted and supplied by Garlands by Indava Equestrian

Please Note: you must be present in order to receive your ribbons, rosettes and leaderboard Rugs!

We are very pleased to have received generous sponsorship from Mullion Produce Pets and Saddlery who have kindly provided our Leaderboard rugs. 

Conditions:

• Classes open to CWDG Club Members only
• Competition attire and plaiting required
• PONIES: Must not exceed 149cm with shoes or 148cm without
• YOUNG RIDERS (YR): Eligible to compete in YR classes up to an including the calendar year you turn 21.
• PRIZE-GIVING: You must be present and in FULL Competition attire to collect your ribbons, rossettes and prizes.

Entry Fees:  

• CWDG Members: $35 per class  
• ($70 per level ie; for two classes (eg Prelim 1.1 and 1.2 or Elementary 3.1 and 3.2))
• ** Please note:  to be eligible for Champion, you must enter both classes in a level eg: Classes  02a and 02b (Prelim 1.1 and Prelim 1.2)  **

Happy Hour:

• Stay and join us for Happy Hour to be held at the end of the day after all the classes have concluded. Presentations and Prize Giving will take place during this period. 

ATTENTION: 

• Dogs must be on a leash at all times. 
• Spectators, Video Cameras and equipment etc must be kept at least 10 metres from the arena, preferably at C or A end of arena. 
• ALL horses and ponies on the premise must be entered into Nominate for insurance purposes and must be kept at least 10 metres from the arena, preferably at C or A end of arena. 
• Only horses that are entered for the competitions are allowed on the premises.

2025 Leaderboard:

• Our Club leaderboard will be held from our March Club Championships 2025 to our September Championships 2025 and will be awarded at our Club Championships in November 2025.
• If undertaking three tests the two scores within the same level will be taken.
• You will need to renew your Club membership on or after the 1^st July to be a current member for competition events that fall between July and December.

Facilities:

• Food and Beverages: Provided by Wally Wombat Cafe
• Arenas: State of the art indoor and three outdoor sand arenas.
• Wash bay: Four (4) wash bays available for use.
• Booking Yards: Cattle Yards, and PC Yards must be pre-booked and purchased if required for the day.
• Manure Disposal: Please deposit all manure from yards and next to floats into the concrete bunker on the eastern side near the cattle yards. Wheelbarrows and tools are provided.
