Development Day 1
Venue: Woodend Equestrian Centre - 279 Motor Road, Deviot
Total Cost: $65 per development session ($10 discount for Dressage Tas members)

Welcome to the first day of the Clearview Winter Series.

The Series consists of 3 development days followed by a competition. The Series is aimed at further developing horses and riders, ready for an exciting 2026/2027 dressage season. Riders of every level are very welcome, from those just starting out, to members aiming for interstate competition.

We have highly experienced judges available at each development day to assist you achieve your goals. 

Fantastic prizes kindly donated by Clearview Performance Horses will be on offer at the conclusion of the series. To be eligible, you must be a Dressage Tasmania member and have attended a min of 2 development days and the competition. Prizes include a rug for the most improved over the series!

Dates:

Development Day 1 - Sunday 14th June 2026
Development Day 2 - Sunday 12th July 2026
Development Day 3 - Sunday 9th August 2026
Competition - Saturday & Sunday 12th & 13th September 2026 

Development Day 1 format will consist of a 30min development session with an experienced judge. This could be anything from working on aspects of a test movement, attempting new movements / levels or riding through a whole test and gaining feedback. Please provide the level you wish to ride at or the specific test you wish to ride through/work on, in your entry.

Riders are encouraged to enter the arena 5-10 minutes before their session for a final warm up. Additional warm up is available outside. 

Due to limitied spaces, only 1 session per horse can be entered. Multiple horses per rider can be entered.

Dressage Tasmania or EA membership is required to enter the Development days, Dressage Tasmania Day membership is available. For 2026/2027, once opened, Dressage Tasmania membership is valid from the date it is paid until 30/06/2027. 

Yards are limited - if you wish to book one, please add a note in your entry. Once they are fully allocated, you will be placed on  wait list. 

Please add your bridle number to your entry if you have one. Otherwise one will be allocated to you on the draw.

WAITING LIST - if the development day fills before you can enter, please send through an expression of interest (EOI) email to [email protected] to be placed on the waiting list. If we have scratchings, we will use this list as first in best dressed to fill the spots.

SCRATCHINGS - If you are no longer able to attend, you may scratch with a refund (minus Nominate processing fee) up until close of entries. After close of entries, if we are able to fill your spot from the waiting list you will receive a refund, otherwise you will require a Vet or medical certificate as per Dressage Tasmania policy to receive a refund after close of entries.
