Carolyn Gorrill Clinic: Horsemanship / Western Dressage 19th & 20th October 2024 at the Burpengary Equestrian Centre Grounds Indoor Arena.
Carolyn has spent 30 years working as a professional within the horse industry. She spent 15 years working at Australian Outback Spectacular, performing in the show and training other riders and horses for the show. Carolyn still spends her time regularly coaching riders with their horses for the show. Carolyn has trained her own horses and competed successfully in the reining pen.
Carolyn travelled to America in 2014 where she was fortunate enough to spend time working for renowned reining trainer Martin Larcombe. Her greatest achievement being winning the Level One Open Futurity, on "Who Whiz Einstein" at the Reining Nationals held in Tamworth in 2016.
Carolyn has since trained and competed multiple horses in Western Dressage, finding it an excellent way to ensure that your horse has the best foundation possible. Carolyn went on to be the winner of the Highest Aggregate Percentage of the Western Dressage Association of Australia National Show in 2022.
Carolyn coaches all levels of rider, her emphasis being on getting the basics right and building a solid foundation for both horse and rider.
Limited to 5 riders per riding group, 10 riders in total, with each participant participating in one 1 ½ hour riding session in the morning followed by one 1 ½ hour riding session in the afternoon.

(Group A) 9am to 10.30 am (Group A) 1pm to 2.30pm
(Group B) 10.30am to 12 pm (Group B) 2.30pm to 4pm
Lunch provided both days.
COST –All nominations via Nominate and payment in full required to nominate. Event is expected to fill quickly, and nominations will close upon rider positions being full. Refunds only provided with Medical or Veterinary Certificate.
Members Discounted cost for all Western Dressage Association of Australia and Western Dressage SEQ Inc Members. $350 Plus Stabling, Camping if required and Burpengary Equestrian Centre Event Fee $2.00 per day per horse. WDSEQ Admin fee of $5.00 applies to each rider.
NON- Members $370 Plus $15 Event Only membership, Stabling & Camping if required and Burpengary Equestrian Centre Event Fee $2.00 per day per horse. WDSEQ Admin fee of $5.00 applies to each rider.
WDSEQ Membership is available at $30 Annually or $50 per family.
