at the grounds on Callington Road, Strathalbyn

Open to members of AHDC, SSJC, & EA. You must be a fully financial member to participate. Proof of membership will be required.

Tests offered are the same as those at Currency Creek Horse Trials to 1*, and Melbourne 3DE 2*,3*,4*

5.    Dressage CCI 1* Test A 2026(TBC) & 105cm jumping

6.    Dressage CCI 2* Test C 2026 & 115cm jumping

 7.    Dressage CCI 3* Test C 2026 & 120cm jumping

8.    Dressage CCI 4* Test C 2026 & 125cm jumping

9.   Dressage only test EvA 45/60 B 2020(TBC)

10.    Dressage only test EvA 80 B 2020(TBC)

11.    Dressage only test EvA 95 B 2020(TBC)

12.    Dressage only CCI 1* Test A 2026(TBC)

13.    Dressage only CCI 2* Test C 2026 

14.    Dressage only CCI 3* Test C 2026

15.    Dressage only CCI 4* Test C 2026

16.    One round show jumping any height (starting at 35cm)

Entry fees:

COMBINED TRAINING    $35 per class.     

DRESSAGE ONLY    $20 per class.

JUMPING ONLY (OR EXTRA JUMPING ROUND)    $10 per round

Max. 2 classes per horse (or equivalent; 2 x dressage tests and 2 x jumping rounds).   

Admin fee (inc Medical levy) of $15 per entry will apply,

as well as a $5 ablutions block levy per rider and refundable $10.00 helper fee*.

Prize for winner and ribbons to fourth place in Combined Training

Ribbons to third place in dressage.

          All entries via Nominate.

Dress  -  neat casual; approved helmet and riding boots compulsory

Note:  All competitors must have their helmet EA tagged.

Dressage notes  -   

All tests in 60x20 arenas  -  tests in 50, 65 and 80 CTs may be called.

All tests to be ridden in a snaffle with the exception of 4*.

Protective boots on the horse’s legs are not permitted. Gloves are optional. Plaiting of horses is optional.

Note: A dressage whip may be carried even where this is not normally allowed in eventing dressage - only because this is a TRAINING day.       

Please present to the judge before your test.

All Combined Training and dressage competitors will be issued with a number on the draw; please bring saddlecloth or bridle number holders and have the number on both sides of your horse during competition.

EA concussion rule will be strictly enforced. Any rider falling from their horse at any time on the grounds, must be checked by Medical personnel before remounting and continuing.

*Riders or associates who assist with the running of the day by helping with set up, pack up, delivery of dressage tests to scorer, picking up jump poles etc. can have their helper fee reimbursed. Any assistance will be appreciated!
