Australia's Ultimate Cow Horse

• Any age, Any saddle
• All horses can be shown two handed in a snaffle bit or hackamore
• Horses shown in a bridle or two rein must meet NRCHA equipment rules 
• Rein Work, Herd Work and Fence Work
• Horses must be shown in the same tack in all 3 runs

Futurity Overview

• Eligible Horses must be 4 years of age 
• The age of the Horse will be recognised as of 1st August 2024 and proof of age may need to be provided at any time
• Eligible Horses must not have competed in an ARCHA Event in a bridle
• Horses must be shown in a Snaffle Bit or Hackamore,
• Aged Events consist of 1 Phase of Rein Work, Herd Work and Fence Work
• Entry fees include all 3 runs (rein, herd and fence)
• Horses must be shown in the same tack in all 3 runs
• Horses must be shown in Western Saddle, Chaps or Chinks
• Open and Non Pro Classes will run concurrently

Derby Overview

• Eligible Horses must be 5 or 6 years of age 
• The age of the Horse will be recognised as of 1st August 2024 and proof of age may need to be provided at any time
• Eligible Horses must not have competed in an ARCHA Event in a bridle
• Horses must be shown in a Snaffle Bit or Hackamore,
• Aged Events consist of 1 Phase of Rein Work, Herd Work and Fence Work
• Entry fees include all 3 runs (rein, herd and fence)
• Horses must be shown in the same tack in all 3 runs
• Horses must be shown in Western Saddle, Chaps or Chinks
• Open and Non Pro Classes will run concurrently

Bridle Spectacular

• Eligible Horses must be 7 years of age or older
• The age of the Horse will be recognised as of 1st August 2024 and proof of age may need to be provided at any time
• Aged Events consist of 1 Phase of Rein Work, Herd Work and Fence Work
• Entry fees include all 3 runs (rein, herd and fence)
• Horses must be shown in the same tack in all 3 runs
• Horses must be shown in Western Saddle, Chaps or Chinks
• Open and Non Pro Classes will run concurrently

Two Handed Classes Overview

• Boxing and Box Drive classes are only open to Non Pro Competitors
• Horses may be shown in a legal snaffle bit or Hackamore
• Competitors may show in any style saddle, Chaps or Chinks are optional

Box Drive / Limited Boxing Overview

• This class is only open to Non Pro Competitors
• Competitors who have won more than AUD$750 in an ARCHA event are ineligible to compete in this class

Youth Classes Overview

• Youth Competitors may show any aged horse two handed in a legal snaffle bit or hackamore
• Youth Competitors may show a horse in any style saddle, Chaps and Chinks are optional
• Youth Competitors are required to wear an approved safety helmet at all times while mounted
• Youth Competitors are not required to own the Horse they are showing 

Rookie Classes Overview

• Rookie Classes are open to Horses of any age and eligibility status
• Rookie Competitors are required to show Two Handed in any legal snaffle bit or Hackamore
• Horses may be shown in any style saddle, Chaps and Chinks are optional
• Rookie Competitors may only enter one (1) Horse per Rookie Class at any given show
• Rookie Classes are "Ribbon Only" classes
• Rookie Competitors are not required to own the Horse being shown
• Rookie Competitors may not enter Rookie Classes and a Cow horse Class (except Rookie Cow Horse) at the same show

Prize money is 100% add back after costs

Package Class Entry – please read carefully

• As a commitment to our competitors, ARCHA offers a number of discounted “package entries”, i.e. for competitors who enter both the “Open” and “Non Pro” divisions of a particular class, the combined entry fee will be discounted. In order to make use of this discount, please ensure you select classes marked “PACKAGE” when entering your nominations.
