Get your best Western Winter Frocks out of the closet for this fun Winter Wonderland themed club day!
Nows your opportunity to learn how to rope a dummy cow for trails and expose your horses to Ranch Trail obstacles in a safe, encouraging and easy-going environment.
Whether you're from an Equitation, English, Campdraft or Trail riding background, all newcomers are welcome!
We endeavour for all to gain a positive takeaway from our club days.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: There will be no refunds after close of nominations unless cancellation of event.
Date: 15 June 2024
Timings: 8.30am Trail Setup, 9.30am- 4pm. All help is greatly appreciated
Location: ‘Alandale’ 117 Summerhill Rd, Bywong, NSW, 2621
Sequence of activites (Please take a break and help yourself to morning tea at any time):
08:30 - 09:30: Ranch Trail set up
09:30: Warmup/ practice the Trail components
10:30: Roping, All skill-levels welcome. Note* This is for the Stationary Roping present in Ranch Trails, not competitive Roping.
11:30: Spins & Turns, what to look and feel for.
Approx 12:00: Lunch
12:15-1:00: Ranch patterns run through. Likely to include a Ranch Riding, Horsemanship and Reining Pattern. Patterns TBC
Pack up and finish once last rider completed.
No tack restrictions (Can be English or Western), must be in good working order.
Attire: western attire preferred however not compulsary. Jeans, long sleeve collared shirt, no singlets. Western hat or helmet only. Helmets are compulsary for Youth*
Important: Must be a current financial member or Day member selected.
