Horse Archery - With Rodney Deaman
About the training
This clinic will cover all aspects of horse archery from an introduction for those that have never attempted horse archery through to a master class for advanced riders. The clinic is focussed at a walk, trot and canter are optional for those students and horses deemed capable and willing or return students.
Riders will be instructed in the archery techniques from the ground, including safe carrying of equipment while on horseback, loading of arrows, shooting, targeting and safe retrieval of arrows, introduction of archery equipment to their horses, and basic shooting from the saddle. There will also be discussions regarding competitions, technique equipment selection, further training, and clubs within Australia.
Riders are encouraged to attend both days for the best results, however many attendees enjoy some limited success when attending only a single day.
