Official EA & SHC Measuring Day held in conjunction with our Dressage Day

The requirements of measuring are in the National Measuring Rules on the EA website – summarised here:

You will need:

• to have your horse or pony in a bridle with a bit; and handled by someone 16 or over;
• the horse or pony’s EA registration card or papers – and or any breed or identification papers for unregistered (EA) horses or ponies;
• the horse or pony’s previous measuring card (if previously measured)
• Practice to accustom your horse or pony to a measurer approaching (have someone walk up to him with a tall stick – calmly)
