Open Show Dressage Competition
Saturday 1 February 2025 at Allora Showgrounds
8.30 AM Start
Entry fees: $20.00 per class
Ribbons to 6th place for each class.
Champion and Reserve Champion sash awarded for highest combined placings at each level and age group.
Led Rein Competition
Class 1: Lead Rein Test 1 Class 2: Led Rein Test 2
Preparatory Competition
Class 3: Preparatory 1 (2023) Class 4: Preparatory 2 (2023)
Preliminary Competition
Class 5: Preliminary 1.1 Class 6: Preliminary 1.2
Novice Competition
Class 7: Novice 2.1 Class 8: Novice 2.2
Elementary Competition
Class 9: Elementary 3.1 Class 10: Elementary 3.2
Medium Competition
Class 11: Medium 4.1 Class 12: Medium 4.2
- Competition on this day is open to everyone - MUST HAVE EA OR ALLORA SHOW EQUESTRIAN GROUP MEMBERSHIP
- Maximum 2 classes per horse over 2 consecutive levels, maximum 2 horses per rider.
- Classes will be split into Junior Primary (12yrs & under), Junior Secondary (18yrs and under), Senior (18 yrs – 49 yrs) & Master riders (50 yrs & over).
- Classes 1 & 2 are for riders Under 12 only. Rider may have a different ‘leader’ for each test.
- Formal presentation will be held at the close of competition.
- Copies of the Tests and rules: are available on EA Australia website. www.equestrian.org.au.
- Lead Rein tests will be emailed to entrants once nominations close.
- These classes are run under the EA rules for Dressage that cover both horse equipment and rider apparel. Formal presentation of horse and rider is preferred.
- Class sponsors have kindly donated product prizes as well.
- The draw will be posted on Nominate and emailed to competitors.
- Every rider is required to nominate for a job and to assist on the day according to the helpers roster. There is no guarantee that you will be allocated the job you request.
- No changes will be made to the nominations after the closing date
- Scratching after the close date will only be refunded if you have vet or doctor certificate.

- This Competition is open to Members of Allora Show Society only.
- Maximum 2 classes per horse over 2 consecutive levels, maximum 2 horses per rider.

- Class and overall results will be posted throughout the day. There will be at least 30 mins between posting the results of the last classes and presentation.
- Formal presentation will be held at the close of competition. Championship winners will be required to present with horses.
