Freshman’s Showjumping Day

Saturday 10 May @ Longford Showgrounds.

Course building from 8am for 9am start 

Course Designer - 

Heights from 45cms – 1.15cms.

Please follow the below link to help on the day. It is expected that all riders are able to assist in someway.

Format for the day

Rounds will be conducted in an unofficial format. Riders will be allocated 2 ½ minutes to complete their round and re-present to any jumps they may wish to jump again, time permitting.

A bell will signal the start and end of your time on course.

Horse/Rider combinations may compete in a total of two rounds, either the same height or different.

Cost is $20 first horse, $15 second and subsequent horses.

Entries close at 10pm on the 7/05/2024

Riders are reminded that they MUST  be financial members Jumping Tasmania prior to close of entries.

Please note that ONLY those helping on course or a riders coach will be allowed in the arena when riders are on course. Absolutely NO spectators will be allowed in the arena. 

Competitors are reminded they are required to help throughout the day with marshalling, course changes and general duties to ensure the day runs smoothly and efficiently. 

Please remember that these days are run to benefit riders that attend and the future of the sport we love.
