Stabling Steward: Claire Rosser (0409 224 538)

There are three blocks of modern, well-constructed, well lit, roomy stables with ample camping close by. There are a total of 132 stables & 40 yards.

Gene Barker Lodge

• closest to the arena with 52 stables (approximately 200m from arena).

Fitzhenry Lodge & Ted Fisher Lodge

• each lodge has 20 stables and 20 yards (approximately 200m from arena)
• yards are not undercover
• stables & yards are booked separately but, for convenience, are usually grouped together

Ramsey Road Stables

• 28 stables situated to the right and left of the Ramsey Road Gate (No. 6)
• some have steel gates and others have slip rails (approximately 400m from arena)

Stud Stables

• 12 stables located at the rear of the stabling area

Day Yards

• there are eight steel yards, usually only used as overflow; not undercover

If necessary, portable yards can be erected to accommodate horses if all stables are allocated. These yards will not be under cover.
