Our September rally will have a showing focus, with a fun and educational day planned for our members! The day will include:
Show riding horse lesson – working on presentation, way of going and ringcraft (the skills needed to ride effectively in the show ring, including positioning, accuracy, awareness of other riders, and presenting your horse to its best advantage).
Flat lesson – developing correct flatwork.
Cross Country lesson – building confidence, rhythm and riding skills.
Theory – focusing on plaiting, turnout (how well a horse and rider are presented for a show, including cleanliness, grooming, plaiting, tack, clothing, and overall smart appearance) and preparation for a show.
It’s a great opportunity for our riders to learn more about what goes into presenting themselves and their horses for a show, while developing their riding skills along the way.
Unfortunately, our canteen will be closed for the September Rally. Please remember to BYO your own food and drinks for the day. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We’re looking forward to a fun and productive September Rally!
