OBSTACLE PRACTICE MORNING 

Whether you are riding, leading, experienced or new to Working Equitation, the morning will be fun and you will leave ready to participate in our WE events this year.

Have you been wanting to try Working Equitation?  Not sure what's involved?
We will have experienced WE riders, taking new or novice WE riders between various obstacles to show and guide you on the "how to" of the obstacle phase.

We also invite our seasoned riders to come practice and if you are willing to mentor the beginner, come & try or novice classes, your help would be greatly appreciated (and you can avoid set up/pack down in return!).

Our first Ruth White clinic for the year is at the same time and if you wish to participate in both, choose the obstacle timeslot appropriate for you, and email [email protected] or find Jen on the day, so that we can arrange help if would like assistance with the obstacles.

Finish time should be by lunch.

Working equitation is a sport for every horse and rider - ponies, trail, hacks and performance horses alike, because after all, variety is the spice of life :)

NOTE:  

- We ask all riders to assist with either set up or pack up (or mentor for experienced riders), please choose the option that suits you.
- If you are not a current SEG member there is a $10 event surcharge
- Novice class will have some mentors who can assist you with help moving up levels/clarification on obstacle protocol
- Experienced class will be left to train obstacles without instruction
- Beginner class will be capped so that small groups will be guided through an introduction to each obstacle.
-Class 4 entrants, you will be running with the beginner timeslot, if this won’t work for you please email [email protected] by the 9^th of February so we can put you in elsewhere.

Set up at 8am, pack down after completion of class 3/4 approx. 11.30am

Every rider needs to help with set up or pack down please select your preferred option, these days are impossible to run without your support.

Class 1 Novice – SEG member 8.30am

Class 2  Experienced – SEG member 9.30am

Class 3 Beginner – SEG member 10.30am

Class 4 Come and Try – non member - 10.30am unless otherwise arranged
