TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your registration is non-refundable should you choose to withdraw from the ride for whatever reason.  In the case of inclement weather, Ride4Lives will postpone the event or offer you a refund.

No cancellation fees will be waived as a result of the following:

• • Injury or sickness.
  • Change of mind or circumstances

It is the responsibility of the individual participant to obtain his/her own personal and motorcycle/ vehicle/ mountain biking insurance.  Please read the terms and conditions on the insurance you choose to make sure it is appropriate for your participation in the ride and will cover you.

Ride4Lives Australia Inc reserves the right to change any part, or the whole, of the arrangements contained within the event, should conditions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control determines such action necessary.  In such cases, we will use our reasonable endeavors to provide alternatives of the same standard, quality and duration as the original event.

Ride4Lives Australia Inc does not accept any responsibility for loss of enjoyment, delays or compensation resulting from circumstances beyond our control.

You acknowledge that the nature of the ride is adventurous, and participation involves a degree of personal risk.  You acknowledge your journey will have the usual risks of travel, and the additional risks that are associated with adventure travel, motorcycling and mountain bike riding.  You accept these risks and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss which may result from your decision to participate in the ride.

Ride4Lives Australia Inc have trained first aiders and are equipped with first aid supplies for any necessary first aid attention.

Before the ride begins, there will be a debrief about the route, local speed limits, signage, and other applicable traffic regulations.

The rider is responsible for:

• Any of the terms of the agreement
• Damage to property that is caused by careless, willful or reckless riding including whilst the rider is under the influence of drugs or alcohol 
• The rider’s license being valid, current and appropriately rated for the motorcycle.
• Adhering to all traffic regulations. All local road rules must be complied with.
• Helmets are mandatory.
• Participants must be aware of traffic, road conditions, weather and other motorcyclists.
• Understand that motorcycling is a dangerous activity and are aware of these risks and fully accepts these risks, and are solely responsible for keeping their motorcycle under control, selecting proper speeds and adhering to state laws.
• To ride at his/her own risk and are legally liable for injury or damage to fellow participants or other road users, whether being lead by the motorcycle leader or otherwise.
• Follow the directions of the motorcycle leader at all times.

By Registering the customer automatically agrees to the following:

• I am completely aware of the dangers of bike riding on and off-road.  I take part in this trip at my own risk. I agree to the fact that neither Ride4Lives Australia Inc nor their representatives or their agents are responsible for damage to my person, belongings, financial loss incurred or for any other extenuating circumstances beyond their control. I am aware that Ride4Lives Australia Inc is not responsible for the behavior of other participants.
• I shall abide by local traffic regulations and those of the group trip.  I will ensure that my behavior and/or actions in no way cause harm to other people, local environment, or other people’s property.
• I have a current valid motorcycle license.
• My motorcycle/vehicle is registered and in a roadworthy condition.
• Have read and understood all Terms and Conditions set out by Ride4Lives Australia Inc.
