From Ground to Saddle

This clinic focuses on transitioning from groundwork to ridden work, using the principles of "ELF" (Equa Lingua Franca) – a philosophy developed by Scott Brodie to create a common language between horse and rider.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand the importance of the seat and working forward out of the seat.
• Master the 4 aspects of the aids.
• Learn how to combine the aids for effective communication.
• Develop lateral bend and flexion under saddle.

What can I expect from the clinic? 

• Circle work to apply and refine the 4 aids.
• An introduction to lateral work under saddle.
• Flexion and counter-flexion exercises to enhance communication and control.

By completing this clinic, you’ll be prepared to continue the journey with the following levels:

Level 4: Introducing the laterals
Level 5: Advancement of "ELF" 
Level 6: Elite Riding of "ELF"
