The Huon Hoofbeats January trail ride will be held on Saturday 4th January.

We plan to do a ride from a private property on Hillview Drive Margate around sections of Margate Tramway Track and around the Baretta Reserve. (ride approx. 2 - 3hrs) 

We will aim to ride off at 10am so please arrive early enough to saddle up etc.

Please bring water for your horses.

One of our Huon Hoofbeats members is very kindly letting us park on their property, so please be respectful and remove all manure & hay etc. The address will be emailed to all riders who have entered.

The ride may include small sections of road, as well as some gravel/rocky paths, so hoof boots/shoes are recommended, as well as high vis.

Riders are expected to be competent at riding in a group situation at walk and trot. There will be an opportunity for riders to have a canter, but we will make sure those who would rather not aren't left behind.
