BEGINNER TO ADVANCED HORSE ARCHERY WITH LIBERTY DEAMAN
About the training
This is an introduction clinic and assumes that you and your horse have never attempted horse archery, although participants with experience will gain a lot from the clinic. Riders who have already learned the basics are also welcome, and will be provided additional tuition in more advanced techniques and continued improvement of the required skill set.
Riders will be instructed in the archery techniques from the ground, including safe carrying of equipment while on horseback, loading of arrows, shooting, targeting and safe retrieval of arrows, introduction of archery equipment to their horses, and basic shooting from the saddle. Most riders spend the duration of their attendance at walk, and there is no obligation to ride faster than you are comfortable. There will also be discussions regarding competitions, technique equipment selection, further training, and clubs within Australia.
Riders are encouraged to attend both days for the best results. Riders who attend a single day will achieve a basic understanding of the sport and techniques.
Tickets are also available for participants in the ground archery session only, and fence sitters. Full event attendees will have a discount applied to their ticketing automatically prior to check out.
Full attendance details will be provided via email prior to the event
