Halls Arena, SASSAFRAS TCHA Mechanical Cow Come and Try Day  August 17 starting at 10.00 am at 50 Robertson's Road Sassafras 7307.

There is no better way to get the cutting season started by having a Mechanical Cow Training Day. A great opportunity to get those cutting horses back into action but also a perfect chance to introduce a new horse or rider to the art of cutting. Our last two training days were sell outs, so get in quick!!

This day will compromise of going through the fundamentals behind cutting where the horse and rider are completing groundwork skills and having sessions on the mechanical cow which simulates the actions of a real cow but in a controlled environment. Two mechanical cows will be operating, the day is divided into three sessions and riders are placed into two groups.

A BBQ lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. 

Water and limited yards are available for use but if you have portable yards please bring these with you.

Cost for TCHA members is $50

Cost for non-TCHA members is $65 

If you are not a NCHA member please included the compulsory $35 insurance fee.

Helmets are compulsory for youth riders.

Waivers must be signed by all before entering the arena this includes riders and non riders.
