SeNSWRHC February Club Day - Members Only

Date: 16 March 2024 

Timings: 0900- 4pm, setup at 0800. All help is greatly appreciated

Location: ‘Alandale’ 117 Summerhill Rd, Bywong, NSW, 2621

Sequence of activites:

08:00 - 09:00:  Ranch Trail set up

09:00-09:30: Warm your horses up well and good so they are in the right headspace to learn

09:30-10:30:  Learn to sidepass the log from the ground up. Bring a halter with you for this.

10:30-11:30: Intro to the drag. Exposure, handling and turning.

11:30-12:15: Lunch

12:15-1:00: Ranch trail discussion at the club house. topics: Ranch patterns, the importance of accuracy, difficulty increases as you progress up the levels, training at home (for competition or self development).

Approx 1/1:15: Mount up and warm up for individual Ranch Trail run-throughs. 

Pack up and finish once last rider completed.

Alandale will run canteen all day - breakfast and lunch (cash or bank transfer on the day, NO EFTPOS)

No tack restrictions, must be in good working order.  

Attire: western attire preferred. Jeans, long sleeve collared shirt, no singlets, western hat or helmet only. Helmets are compulsary for Youth*
