Section Conditions:

1. Entry forms provided are to be forwarded to the Fraser Coast Agriculture Show Society by email info@frasercoastagshow.com.au .Entries Close 2 November 2018.

2. An application form must be completed.

3. School Representatives will be required to prepare their own display.

4. Entries to be staged in Pavilion 3  between 9.00am to 4.00pm Monday 20 May 2019 and Tuesday 21 May 2019 (Doors close on time at 4.00pm) and 9.00am and 9.00pm Wednesday 22 May 2019 (Doors close on time at 9.00pm)

School Personnel are required to advise show staff of their arrival at the Showgrounds. The show office is located in the corner of Pavilion 3

5. The show Society will only provide wall space. All other requirements are the responsibility  of the School.

6. Schools are required to dismantle their display by 5pm Saturday 25 May 2019. As the pavilion will be closed and locked at 5.00pm sharp and anything left inside will not be accessed due to cleaning of the Pavilion. The cost of any further cleaning required due to the late removal of display items will be charged to the relevant school/organisation. 

7. Displays are to reflect the theme of the Fraser Coast Agriculture Show for 2019 being

               Cane and Cattle.

8. Schools are encouraged to utilise the range of medium - eg art works, photography, student assignments to reflect the Schools interpretation of the Show's Theme.

9. Electronic presentations are not encouraged for logistical, safety and security reasons.

2019 SCHOOL SITE TERMS AND RENTAL CONDITIONS

 

  1. Site holders must report to the Site Director located at the Show Office on arrival at the showgrounds.  If you do not report on arrival at the showgrounds, and your site is not set up in the correct position you will be requested to relocate to your pre assigned position..
  2. Notification of intended cancellation must be lodged in writing by letter or email to the Executive Officer.
  3. Display stands must be completed before 8.00 am Thursday, 23th May 2019.
  4. Set up times are available Monday 20 May , Tuesday 21 May  9am to 4pm and Wednesday 22rd May 2019; 9.00 am to 9.00 pm.
  5. Displays, stalls or fixtures must not be dismantled, nor goods or materials removed and the exhibitor must remain open until 8.00 pm, Friday 24th May 2019
  6. Displays must be dismantled and removed by 5pm Saturday 25 May 2019 at which time the pavilion doors will be locked for cleaning. The cost of any further cleaning required due to the late removal of display items will be charged to the relevant school.
  7. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of their occupied space for the duration of the Show.  The Society will arrange for general cleaning of aisles and passageways daily.
  8. All rubbish must be removed when leaving.  A Levy will apply to any site holder if your site area requires extra cleaning.  This invoice will be issued after the Show and will include all associated costs to that particular area that requires cleaning.
  9. The Society shall determine when the Exhibition shall be opened to the exhibitors and (to) the general public, and this management decision as to such hours will be final and conclusive.

  1. The Fraser Coast Agriculture Show Society Inc. undertakes the rental of the showgrounds from the Fraser Coast Regional Council for the duration of the show period.  The Society undertakes to rent the site and/or buildings in its present condition. 
  2. The application of a poster or a product by way of nailing, adhesive substance which is permanent is strictly prohibited. Blu tack or other temporary fixtures are allowed but must be cleaned off when site vacated.
  3. Any damage to your site area will be issued with an account/invoice from the Society after the Show to fix all associated costs to the damaged area.
  4. Rental of site allocations remains at the discretion of the Fraser Coast Agriculture Show Society Inc.  The described area to be used only and solely for the purpose specified herein, NO SUB LETTING WILL BE PERMITTED, without written approval from the Society.
  5. Exhibitors, their representatives, and employees will conduct themselves in an orderly and respectable manner, whilst said persons are on the showgrounds.  Alcohol must NOT be consumed on exhibit stands.
  6. The possession of illegal drugs and narcotic substances, will not be tolerated, and is strictly prohibited on the Maryborough Showgrounds & Equestrian Park.
  7. Only those goods of the nature stated on the site application form are to be displayed and/or sold.  The Society shall retain the power to enter upon the area described and (to) remove any article, sign, picture or printed matter which may be deemed as obscene, or (as) a likely cause of offence to the general public and/or the officials of the Fraser Coast Agriculture Show Society Inc.
  8. It is agreed that the Fraser Coast Agriculture Show Society Inc. will not under any circumstances be held responsible for any loss or damage to the stalls, equipment, etc, or any part thereof belonging to an exhibitor.
  9. The Society reserves the right, in unforeseen circumstances, to amend or alter the size or location of allocated sites, and the exhibitor hereby undertakes to agree to any such alteration as deemed necessary.
  10. A copy of the current PUBLIC LIABILITY Policy of Insurance for a sum of at least $10,000,000 in the name of trader/exhibitor with an approved insurance company must be furnished with the respective site application form.  Without proof of Public Liability coverage currently held by the applicants for show-site(s), the Fraser Coast Agriculture Show Society may reject such applications at its absolute discretion.  Given details of current Public Risk Insurance coverage will be respected as private and confidential information.
  11. The exhibitor shall strictly comply with all Commonwealth, State and Local Government statutes, regulations and local laws
