Section Conditions

  1. Entries close 3.30pm Thursday 18 April 2019 NO late entries accepted.    
  2. Alternatively, Entry Forms provided to be completed and sent, along with payment, by Thursday 18 April 3.30 pm 2019, to Fraser Coast Agriculture Show Society Inc., PO Box 232, Maryborough, Qld 4650  or deliver to Show Office, 84 Gympie Rd, Tinana, Qld, between 9.30am and 3.30pm Mon to Thurs. NO late entries accepted
  3. Exhibits must be delivered to the Showgrounds Arts and Crafts Pavilion during 10am–1pm Sunday 19 May 2019 and remain on display until 8pm Friday 24 May 2019.
  4. Exhibits are to be collected Saturday 25 May 2019 between 9am-11am. Any collection of exhibits outside these hours to be arranged with the Chief Steward.
  5. Number of entries per person is restricted to six (6). Max 2 entries per class.
  6. Work must be the original work of the entrant and must not have been exhibited at previous Fraser Coast Agriculture Shows, or other Qld Agriculture shows.
  7. Works in the OPEN and NOVICE CLASSES must be ready to hang with cord and 'D' rings attached.
  8. Sculptures will not be accepted into classes other than class 39006.
  9. The NOVICE CLASSES are open to those who have NOT won a prize previously at the Fraser Coast Agriculture Show or other Queensland Agricultural Shows.
  10. The Artists name, address and contact number as well as class number, medium and price must be shown on the back of each exhibit.
  11. Entries must state whether for sale or not. If for sale, price must be clearly marked on a label/sticker placed on the bottom right hand corner of the front of the painting. If not for sale, this must be noted in the same area as N/S.(not for sale). Stewards will assist in arranging sale of works with 25% of sale price being retained.
  12. If space is insufficient to permit the hanging of all entries, a selection of representatives of all classes will be displayed. However, all entries will be judged.  The Judge's decision is final

Classes 39001 – 39009              $8 (incl GST)

Classes 39010 – 39013              $2 (incl GST)

(1st & 2nd prizes may be Cash, voucher or item.)

People's Choice Awards

Collect entry tickets at the Fine Art Section area – one per person for each of the following to place in marked boxes.

JUNIOR            Classes 39010 to 39013

Each Winning Entrant receives a Certificate.

President's Encouragement Award

Chosen from all Classes by the Fraser Coast Agriculture Show President or nominated Representative.

Weight limit 8 kg, no wider than 50cm, no higher than 60 cm.
