Please if you are camping overnight and need yards you need to book as there are limited yards.

If you don’t book you WILL NOT HAVE YARDS.

Due to the large Program, classes will not be

held up or delayed for entrants.

RULES AND REGULATION

GENERAL RULES

• BURRUM DISTRICT ACTIVE RIDERS Inc OPERATE UNDER THEIR CLUB RULES (No other societies or organisations rules apply)
• JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL
• Australian Standard Boots and Helmets must be worn at all times. Gear checks will be made throughout the day
• All competitors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present at all times
• All competitors with children on the grounds are solely responsible for your children
• Safety is paramount no prams in the arena or marshalling areas
• The committee reserves the right to refuse entry or evict any, competitors or visitors from the ring or grounds.
• The committee reserves the right to refuse or evict any misbehaving, sick or injured horses from the ring and may be quarantined at the committees discretion
• Burrum District Active Riders Inc or governing bodies shall not be responsible for loss, damage or injury during the competition and competitors enter at their own risk
• Stallions are permitted, no one under the age of 18 is to handle or ride a stallion anywhere on the grounds, it is the sole responsibility of the owner or handler in charge.
• No led line rider to be lead by under 18 year old.

Breed Classes

• Horses age to be taken from the 1^st of August 2024
• Youngstock classes are for horses 3yrs and under
• Youngstock are not permitted in gender class.
• Led any other breed is for horses that are not eligible for any other led breed class
• Attire optional, to breed standard or neat casual or jackets and jodphurs, the choice is yours.
• Under 18’s must wear a helmet in Led classes.
• Over 18’s must wear a brimmed hat (no caps allowed) in Led classes
• Champion is open to all first place getters in the correlating class
• Reserve Champion is open to all first place getters and the second place getter of the champion in the correlating class
• Grand Champion Youngstock is for all first place youngstock.
• Grand Champion Mare is for all first place mares.
• Grand Champion Stallion is for all first place stallions.
• Grand Champion Gelding is for all 1^st place geldings.
• Supreme Led All Breeds is only open to the four Grand Champions
• Supreme Ridden All Breeds is open to all champion ridden breeds.

HACK CLASSES

* Your horse can only enter one section – Pony Hack, Galloway Hack, Hack, Hunter Pony, Hunter Galloway or Hunter Hack.

* Led Line Hack is for rider not yet riding independently and still in need of assistance, and is not eligible for Champion.

* Maiden must not have won a first place at any hack show.

* Novice must not have won an open champion at any hack show.

* Open are to have won a champion or higher at any hack show.

* Champion is open to all first-place getters in the Hack or Hunter classes.

* Reserve champion is open to all first-place getters in the classes and the second-place getter of the champion.

* SUPREME HACK is open to the Champion Pony, Champion Galloway, Champion Hack, Champion Hunter Pony, Champion Hunter Galloway and Champion Hunter Hack Only. * Hunter pony/ horses are to display a higher bone density and stronger leg action then hacks, also be well mannered but look fresh and alert.

STALLIONS

* Stallions Permitted – However Stallion owners/handlers are solely responsible for their exhibit.

* Stallions only to be handled and/or ridden by competitors over the age of 18 years (in or out of the arena)

* The Committee reserves the right to evict misbehaving horses from the ring.

Stallions must display green disc on both sides of halter and bridle no ribbon accepted
