Purchase raffle tickets to support our NSW rider, Karen Yanik at the 2026 WAWE World Championships. The raffle will be drawn on Saturday night after dinner by Karen Yanik.
This event will be held in accordance with current ANWEL Rule Book.

RIDER INFORMATION
BRIDLE NUMBERS & ANWE LEVY: Bridle numbers are compulsory and your ANWE Levy must be current.
VOLUNTEERS: We are only able to operate these events with the assistance of volunteers. All riders are required to complete the jobs during the event eg course setter, penciller, scoring, marshalling, food for judges etc which are allocated to them. A volunteer roster will be emailed to all riders prior to the event. Please ensure you are available at your allocated time otherwise the program will run behind time.
SCRATCHINGS: Via Nominate will only be accepted and refunds provided in accordance with the strict conditions set out below.
REFUNDS: 50% refund will be given if you scratch before the closing date. After the closing date and up to 72 hours before the Event scratching is permitted with a vet or medical certificate however only 20% will be refunded. Scratchings within 72 hrs of the Event are non-refundable in any and all circumstances.
All refunds are less Nominate’s booking fee and admin fee.
LEVELS:
- All Levels from L1 to L8.
- Horses must enter at their normal competition level or higher.
- Horses may only compete at one level per event.
- One rider per horse for the entire Event (See Rule 2.6).
- A horse may only be ridden by its nominated rider on the competition grounds.
- The Organising Committee reserves the right to delete any level in the case of insufficient entries.
- Proof of compliance with published qualifying criteria is required.
ENTRIES:
ANWE NSW reserves the right to refuse any entry.
Levels for 1 - 8 will be capped. The cap for each Level will be determined by the Organising Committee depending on overall entry numbers for the Event. The Organising Committee reserves the right to determine number of entries per Level. Once the cap is reached excess entries will be placed on a waiting list.
Any rider who fails to comply with the Conditions of Entry (including the qualifying criteria) or a direction from any member of the Organising Committee may be eliminated.
All entries will be conditional on the Organising Committee confirming compliance with qualifying criteria. Riders will be advised by the Organising Committee when their entry has been accepted.
No horses are to be ridden at the Event or on Event grounds unless they are entered in the event.
DRAW: The draw will be emailed to all entrants one week prior. Draw position cannot be changed without the permission of the Organising Committee.
DRAW TIMES: Please be aware of your draw times and be ready! Riders will be required to bump up to an earlier time if there are scratchings. If you are late, you may be eliminated from that phase. Although you may still compete in the next phase.
CODE OF CONDUCT: ANWE NSW expect that all persons attending the event will conduct themselves in a professional courteous manner at all times. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action being taken.
CANCELLATION OF EVENT: The Organising Committee reverses the right in its absolute discretion to cancel the Event. If the Event is cancelled entry fees will be refunded less a $25.00 Fee which is non-refundable.
The ANWE NSW Facebook page will be updated in respect of any Event changes. Any changes after the closing date will be notified to all entered competitors by email via Nominate.
CALLERS: Callers are permitted in all phases. However:
- In the Dressage - riders will be penalised 5 points.
- In Ease of Handling - riders will be penalised 5 points.
- In Speed Phase – 10 seconds will be added to the rider’s time.
ATTIRE AND GEAR: Please refer the Rulebook and be aware of gear and attire restrictions
GEAR CHECK: A gear check by the nominated Gear Steward is compulsory for all riders and horses prior to each phase. Please present for a gear check prior to your allocated ride time. Elimination will occur if gear checks are not completed at the correct time.
Please be aware of restrictions on gear changes between phases as set out in the Rule Book. Failure to do so may cause elimination.
COURSE WALK: Times WILL BE STRICTLY adhered to as per the draw when issued. The course must be walked in full competition attire.
DOGS: All dogs must be kept on a leash. Dogs, children, prams etc. are not allowed in the competition and warmup arenas.
SWABBING: Random swabbing may take place. If approached by the Official Steward/Vet Officer of the day, the person responsible for the horse must allow samples to be taken.
DISPUTES: From time to time there may be the need to lodge a protest but may only concern matters of protocol , procedures or administration. Judges decisions made in the dressage, EOH and speed are considered final and are not open to protest as per the ANWEL 2026 Rulebook.
Ground jury will be named and included in the riders’ draw.

ARRIVALS from Wednesday are permitted, departures up to and including Monday are permitted. Please familiarise yourself with Stonewall’s House Rules in the attached.
A WARM UP ARENA will be available on Thursday afternoon at no charge.
SCORING: Will be in accordance with the ANWEL 2026 Rule Book. Live scoring will be available via Nominate.
PHOTO & VIDEO: By entering this Event you consent to ANWE NSW using photos and videos of you and your horse for training, educational and promotional purposes.
SATURDAY DINNER & TRIVIA: Join us on Saturday night for Woodfire Pizza and Italian Salads. The cost of one ticket for dinner is included in each rider’s entry fee! Extra tickets for dinner can be purchased through Nominate when you enter the Event for $38 pp. Wristbands will be issued to ticketholders. No ticket means no dinner so please book your extra dinner tickets early so that numbers can be confirmed with the caterer.
A Trivia Quiz will be conducted after dinner.
ANWE NSW TEAMS EVENT 2026
Teams event is open to all levels.
Team entry payment to be made by each team member with their class entry. Please nominate your team members in the questions field. Anyone without a team or enough team members will be able to select the option to be included in a team and will be placed with other riders requiring a team.
Team entries (3 or 4 riders) - $25 per Team Member.
- Teams must consist of a minimum of three and a maximum of four riders and all riders must compete in all in all three phases.
- The Team’s best three scores in Dressage, Ease of Handling & Speed will be used to determine the 2026 Team Champion. In the event of a tie the Team with the highest aggregate dressage scores will be the winner. If the Team only has three riders all scores of the team members will be used.
ANWE NSW, the Organising Committee (or any of its members or volunteers), ANWEL, any of its affiliated States or Clubs, Equestrian Australia or any their respective Committees and Stonewall Equestrian Centre DO NOT accept any liability for any damage, accident, injury or illness (including death) to horse, owners, spectators and volunteers suffered by any person or property whatsoever.
RISK WARNING AND RELEASE:
1. Horse riding is a dangerous activity and can result in serious injury (including death) and loss.
2. All persons who ride or tend a horse at the Event do so entirely at their own risk
3. By entering this Event all participants accept and agree to all of the terms and conditions in the attached Risk Warning and Release.
