The 2026 Australian Interschool Championships are scheduled to the hosted at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre in Victoria, September 28 to October 04.

Interschool comprises a competition and educational pathway for young athletes to participate in equestrian sport during their primary and secondary school (middle/high school) years.  If you are a young rider, aged between 5-18 years of age, attending school, looking to develop your equestrian skills, character, sportsmanship and teamwork, then Interschool is for you.

There are 5 different types of competition offered:

• Dressage
• Jumping
• Eventing
• Show Horse
• Combined Training

2026 Squad applications are now open and will close Friday 27 March.

Please note final team selection does not just depend on completing requirements.  The final selection will be made in accordance with the Policy.

By nominating you are simply expressing your interest in an area you wish to be considered for selection in.  If you’re unsure of how your year will progress, or how your results will develop you are better off to nominate in the disciplines that you are interested in being selected for than not.  This way the Interschool NT sub-committee can assist you with your qualification requirements and keep you on track.

To nominate you must be a member of Equestrian Northern Territory (any membership category).
