Les Friend – SHOWING, DRESSAGE & TRAINING

Les has been riding since a very young age, and has had a long career as a competitive rider. He now focuses on sharing his knowledge and experience with his students.

Students of the Les Friend Riding Academy are successfully competing at local, state and National level in dressage and showing.

Les has trained horses up to Prix St George level in Dressage and produced Grand Champion Riders at numerous Horse of the Year events, EA Nationals and Grand National Championships.

He supports his students at home as well as attending all major events to ensure that his students are performing at their best prior to riding into their first event.

Les is a coach for the NSW youth team and development squad and he has been awarded NSW Coach of the Year twice and National Coach of the Year. Les is a permanent fixture at all the major events and it is not uncommon for him to have up to ten students in each class.

Les is a warm and engaging coach, serving as an excellent ambassador for the sport.

Lessons are offered in two durations:

30 minutes

GEC or APC Members - $75

Non-members - $90

45 minutes

GEC or APC Members - $110

Non-members - $125

Available time slots range from 9:30AM to 5:30PM.
