MDRC Event Rules
McLaren Districts Riding Club (MDRC) will not be liable or held responsible for any loss, damage or injury to horses, persons, vehicles or equipment on the grounds. All competitors participate at their own risk & all spectators enter at their own risk.
All Fees are prepaid prior to this event & an invoice will be email to confirm payment has been cleared.
Participants must have a current year MDRC membership or a day pass to enter this event.
Please ensure you leave the area you’ve used clean and tidy when you depart. Place all rubbish in the bins.
Manure is to be spread ONLY within the club's boundary (ie. the grassed ara inside the fence). Manure must not be left in the float parking area.
No dogs, stallions or colts are permitted on the grounds.
Riders must wear an EA-approved helmet and flat-soled riding boots. Riders participating in jumping activities must wear a EA approved body protector.

Horses should not be brought to events unless they are healthy and sound.
Gear must be suited and fitted to the horse being ridden and provide adequate control for the activity being undertaken.
If the Bureau of Meteorology weather forecast for the local area is predicted to be 34 degrees or higher, or heavy rain is forecast, the committee reserves the right to cancel or postpone the on the Saturday before the event. MDRC will advertise details of cancellation/postponement on the MDRC Facebook page.
All tickets are non-refundable but may be transferrable if the event is rescheduled.
There is to be no smoking within 20 metres of the clubrooms.
Entry gates must be closed at all times when horses are present. Please only take horses through the signed horse gate.
Car and float parking is confined to designated parking. A float must be attached to a towing vehicle if a horse is tied to the float.
Horses that are potential or known kickers must wear a red ribbon on their tail.
By attending and rally or competition, attendees and spectators automatically give approval for their photos and results to be published on the MDRC website and Facebook page.
