Mount Gambier is situated in the stunning Limestone Coast, 435km south of Adelaide and 423km south west of Melbourne.  Known for our stunning Blue Lake, pine forests and our amazing cross country going.  Regardless of the weather you are guaranteed that our course will give you a great ride.  What better way to start the second half of the eventing season than with a run at Mount Gambier before you head to Currency Creek, Friends of Werribee and Spring Horse Trials and the rest of the eventing season.

Some highlights of our event include:

Access to 60 permanent yards and the opportunity to build your own on the airport precint directly behind the pony club grounds.  

Grizzcon Rider's Party: Saturday night. Drinks can be purchased from Sink Hole Gin. More details to follow.

Horse Deals Interstate Challenge: Teams of 4 to be entered prior to 1.30pm Saturday 10th August to the secretaries office. Entry fee $20.00.  All teams must have a team name.  Entry forms available at the event of can be downloaded from Nominate.

POP (People on Ponies): for all eligible mounts not exceeding 148cm.  Height certificates must be produced on request.  $10.00 entry fee to be paid with entries.

Thorough Care Off The Track Classes: for all eligible Bred to Race Horses.  Bred to Race forms to be returned with entry.  Cash prizes for the best performet OTT in each class.

Ice is available and will be delivered Sunday morning, to be preordered with entries. $6.00 per bag.

Best performed local rider: for all riders who live within 125km of Mount Gambier, please identify your eligability by responding to the question on the entry form.
