Stabling Competitors can arrange stables through Wangaratta show society (03) 5727 3402. bring your own straw. Any competitor failing to pay for their stabling will be reported to the EFA. Limited yards available ($10 per weekend), first in, first served. Secure temporary yards may be errected at Oxley reserve but they must be 12'x12' as space is very limited. Campers need to display their camping pass in their vehicle windscreen.
Accommodation Milawa Caravan Park (03) 5727 3203, Advance Motel in Wangaratta (03) 5721 9100, Camping at Oxley reserve. Shower and Toilet facilities available. $10 per horse.
Catering Available on grounds, Breakfast & Dinner available. Entertainment on Saturday night.

Notes

The cross country course is designed around the Oxley Recreation Reserve which is relatively flat land of sandy loam soils. The lower part of the course follows the King River flats and creek banks with the start and finish on a higher bank area providing a great view of the course for spectators. All four courses offer a goog variety of solidly built fences to encourage riders and horses early in the season. Some portable fences are used and these are moved to make changes to the course from year to year. Some upgrading has been done.
