Rules & Regs

All classes are run under EA rules (amended).

  1.  Formal dress-jacket and tie or pony club uniform should be worn for dressage and show jumping. If you do not own a jacket then a long sleeve shirt and tie is acceptable.
  2. Protective headgear must be AS/NZS 3838, EN 1384 or ASTN F1163.
  3. No refunds after the closing date (unless Vet or medical certificate is provided to event organisers prior to even commencing)
  4. No Late Entries will be accepted.
  5. One rider per horse.
  6. NCEC reserve the right to cancel any or all events due to weather conditions, retaining 20% of all entry fees if cancelled.
  7. Riders must be members of the EA or the North Coast Equestrian Club. Make sure you are current! NCEC membership forms are on the website
  8. Waiver declaration must be ticked at time of entry on Nominate.
  9. Entries may be limited if oversubscribed. Extra entries will be placed on a reserves list.
  10. Organisers reserve the right to cancel or alter any events or classes.
  11. Dogs only permitted on grounds if leashed.
  12. Number must be displayed on the horse in all phases (either bridle or saddle cloth)

Other stuff you should know

  1. Entries via Nominate only (www.nominate.com.au).  A 5.5% processing fee will be applied at time of entry.
  2. Camping is available at $15 per night.  Plenty of sites, powered and unpowered are available.  Payment must be made at time of entry.
  3. Stabling is available at $5 per overnight stay. Over 90 stables and yards available to choose from. Majority of stables are undercover, with 36+ larger yards out in the open.  Payment for stables must be made at time of entry.  Individual stabling will not be allocated.
  4. A vet will be on call for the event.
  5. Membership, waiver forms, tests etc can be downloaded from NCEC’s website: www.northcoastequestrianclub.com.au
  6. The safety evacuation point is the main arena.
  7. Bio-security rules will apply.
  8. Off The Track NSW (OTT) horses can use this event to qualify please enter the showjumping or dressage classes on offer to qualify & advise of OTT details at entry to be eligible. Normal OTT NSW provisions apply.
